New Year – Nee Doctor Who! Turning the lack of a Christmas slot into a positive, we now have the newly coined phrase ‘Who Year’s Day’. Oh, and we have a new scarf. I’m not too sure what to make of it. Scarves are nothing new to Who, after all, Tom Baker’s famously long scarf…

Tom Baker’s final season hits the shelves as a blu-ray special edition box set in February 2019! Following on from hot sellers Baker’s Season 12 and Peter Davison’s 19th season, this marks the third full season release. Ever since the show came back in 2005 we have had one Doctor and one companion stories with only brief appearances of secondary companions – step forward Mickey Smith (Noel Clarke), Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill)…

Now that the dust has settled with the BBC’s reveal of Jodie Whittaker as the new Doctor, let’s get acquainted. Do I think she’ll be a good Doctor? Putting my cards on the table I’ve always considered the Doctor to be male. Ever since I was little I’ve followed his adventures from being an avuncular…

And then the Beeb announced the teaser trailer that would put our minds at rest. Well, perhaps not quite at rest. You see, the word on the street was that the new Doctor was…
